We are currently inviting submissions of tool papers (in English) pertaining to software tools relevant to the topics of the conference. We particularly encourage tools papers about open-source software freely available for public download.
Submitted tool papers should be formatted in IEEE double-column format
and should be 2 pages. Papers must be unpublished and must not be
submitted for publication elsewhere. All papers will be reviewed, and accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings.
The tools paper deadline is 15 May 2007. Please send tools papers to qest2007tools[at]doc.ic.ac.uk.
QEST welcomes submissions from Graduate students in the form of proposals for posters describing their work. These will be displayed during the welcome reception, when students will be able to answer questions and describe their work to delegates.
Submissions should be in the form of a short abstract, maximum 200 words, describing how the work relates to QEST's areas of interest and be accompanied by an A4 or US Letter sketch, in PDF or PowerPoint, of the poster. Posters accepted will be limited to A0 portrait size.
Proposals should be sent to Professor Rob Pooley, rjp[at]macs.hw.ac.uk by 30th June 2007. Successful proposers will be notified by 30th May. For their poster to appear at QEST the student whose work is presented must register for the conference.
